  • 600 gPeach
  • 25 gSugar
  • 120 mlMaple syrup
  • 15 mlVanilla extract
  • 60 gButter
  • 0.3 gSalt
  • 60 mlPeach nectar

    Make the sauce

    • Combine maple syrup, vanilla extract, melted butter, a pinch of salt and peach nectar in a large saucepan.
    • Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to a simmer and cook until reduced by about half (approx. 8–12 minutes). Keep warm.

    Prepare the peaches

    • Halve and pit the peaches.
    • Dip the cut sides into the hot sauce and sprinkle the cut sides generously with granulated sugar.

    Grill and serve

    • Place the peaches cut-side down on a very hot grill or grill pan.
    • Grill until marked and slightly charred (about 2–4 minutes). Serve warm with the remaining sauce.
