Make the sauce
- Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and sauté for about 2 minutes until translucent.
- Add the salmon and cook another 3 minutes until just cooked through.

Deglaze and enrich
- Deglaze with the white wine (use sparingly to avoid an overly winey taste).
- Let reduce about 1 minute, then add the cream.
- Stir in the crème fraîche and freshly grated horseradish.

Finish and season
- Let the sauce simmer until it thickens and absorbs the salmon flavor.
- Stir in the chopped dill and season with freshly ground black pepper and a pinch of salt (be careful if using smoked salmon).

Cook pasta & serve
- Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente (about 8–10 minutes).
- Drain, place on two plates and spoon the sauce over the pasta.
- Garnish with a lemon slice and some dill leaves and serve immediately.
