  • 150 gSugar
  • 1 pcsEgg
  • 31 gFlour
  • 6 gBaking powder
  • 0.3 gSalt
  • 1 tspVanilla extract
  • 120 gWalnut
  • 60 gApple

    Preparation

    • Preheat the oven to 160°C (325°F). Grease a 23 x 23 cm (9 x 9 in) baking pan.
    • Peel (optional) and chop the apples. Coarsely chop the walnuts if not already chopped.

    Make the batter

    • Beat the sugar and egg until smooth and slightly fluffy.
    • Beat in the flour, baking powder, salt and vanilla until combined.
    • Fold in the chopped walnuts and apples.

    Bake

    • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
    • Bake at 160°C for about 30 minutes until golden and a skewer comes out clean.
    • Let cool slightly, cut into portions and serve warm or at room temperature.
