  • 306 gmar riegel
  • 150 gButter
  • 120 gRice crispy
  • 150 gChocolate

    Prepare

    • Line a 20 x 20 cm baking tin with parchment paper and lightly grease.

    Melt caramel bars and butter

    • Chop the Mars bars roughly and place them with the butter in a heatproof bowl.
    • Set the bowl over a pan of barely simmering water and whisk until smooth and melted.

    Mix and press

    • Pour the melted mixture over the Rice Krispies in a large bowl.
    • Mix until all Rice Krispies are evenly coated.
    • Press the mixture firmly and evenly into the prepared tin. Set aside.

    Melt chocolate and finish

    • Melt the milk chocolate in a microwave in short bursts or over a water bath, stirring until smooth.
    • Spread the melted chocolate over the Rice Krispie layer and leave to set in a cool place.

    Serve

    • Once set, lift from the tin, remove the parchment and slice into bars or squares.
    • Store chilled and consume within a few days.
