Prepare and sauté
- Heat the duck fat in a pot large enough to hold everything at the end over medium heat.
- Add the onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.

Add sauerkraut and spices
- Add the sauerkraut, white wine, juniper berries, clove, coriander seed, mustard seed and garlic to the pot and mix well.

Add meats and simmer
- Add the bacon and smoked pork slices to the pot and stir in.
- Cover and simmer gently about 2 hours, stirring occasionally.

Cook potatoes and sausages
- In another pot, simmer peeled potatoes and sausages – do not boil vigorously, to avoid sausages splitting.
- Cook until potatoes are tender and sausages are heated through.

Serve
- Heap sauerkraut on the bottom of the plate, top with potatoes, sausages and the pork pieces.
- Serve hot.
