Ingredients

  • 0.5 tspSesame oil
  • 720 mlWater
  • 2 tbspMiso
  • 2 pcsGreen onion
  • 100 gTofu
  • 50 gMushroom
  • 60 gShrimp
  • 3 gWakame

    Prepare

    • Prepare all ingredients. Cut tofu into about 1 cm cubes, slice mushrooms, finely chop green onions.
    • Dissolve miso in ½ cup (120 ml) cold water and set aside.

    Make the broth

    • Heat sesame oil in a small pot over medium heat.
    • Add green onions and sauté for 1–2 minutes, stirring.
    • Add 720 ml water and bring to a boil.

    Add miso and finish

    • Lower the heat. Stir the dissolved miso into the pot to avoid lumps.
    • Add tofu, mushrooms, seaweed and optional shrimp and let simmer gently for 2–3 minutes (do not boil).
    • Taste and serve hot.
