Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 230 °C (450 °F).
- Grease a baking dish (about 20×20 cm or similar).

Make the batter
- Beat the sugar, softened butter and eggs with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
- Stir in the pumpkin purée until well combined.
- Add the milk, cake flour and baking powder and mix until smooth.

- Pour the mixture into the prepared dish.
- Sprinkle ground cinnamon on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven until the center is set (about 45 minutes or longer). Let cool slightly before serving.
