- 140 gPecan
- 160 gPowdered sugar
- 15 gCocoa powder
- 22.5 mlCorn syrup
- 60 mlApple juice

Make the dough
- Combine crushed vanilla wafers, ground pecans, powdered sugar and cocoa powder in a bowl and mix well.
- Add light corn syrup and apple juice, then knead into a workable, even dough. If too wet, add a little more ground cookies or nuts; if too dry, add 1–2 tsp apple juice.

Shape and coat
- Take about 1 tbsp (≈15–18 g) of dough and roll into balls about 2–2.5 cm in diameter.
- Roll the balls in powdered sugar or ground pecans until evenly coated.
- For best flavor, store in a tin or airtight container for about a week to let flavors mature. Bring to room temperature 30 minutes before serving.
