- 1 tbspRapeseed oil
- 2 tbspSoy sauce
- 60 mlWater

Preparation
- Pat the salmon dry.
- Season evenly with black pepper (use sparingly if desired).

Make teriyaki marinade
- Whisk together soy sauce, water, honey, canola oil, minced ginger and minced garlic until the honey is dissolved.
- Taste and adjust if needed.

Grill
- Preheat grill or grill pan to high.
- Grill salmon 3–4 minutes per side until just cooked through and flaky.
- Brush teriyaki marinade over salmon during the last 2 minutes to glaze.
- Remove and serve immediately.
