  • 425 gSalmon
  • 2 tspPepper
  • 1 tbspRapeseed oil
  • 2 tbspSoy sauce
  • 60 mlWater
  • 1 tbspHoney
  • 2 tbspGinger
  • 2 tbspGarlic

    Preparation

    • Pat the salmon dry.
    • Season evenly with black pepper (use sparingly if desired).

    Make teriyaki marinade

    • Whisk together soy sauce, water, honey, canola oil, minced ginger and minced garlic until the honey is dissolved.
    • Taste and adjust if needed.

    Grill

    • Preheat grill or grill pan to high.
    • Grill salmon 3–4 minutes per side until just cooked through and flaky.
    • Brush teriyaki marinade over salmon during the last 2 minutes to glaze.
    • Remove and serve immediately.
