  • 74 gVegetable oil
  • 55 gDark chocolate
  • 200 gSugar
  • 1 pcsEgg
  • 300 gWhole wheat flour
  • 2.8 gSalt
  • 2.3 gBaking soda
  • 2.5 gVanilla extract
  • 180 gWater
  • 180 gChocolate
  • 120 gWalnut
  • 115 gCream cheese

Instructions

    Melt chocolate and oil

    • Preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F).
    • Place vegetable oil and unsweetened chocolate in an ovenproof 20 cm square pan and put it in the oven for 1–2 minutes until the chocolate just melts.
    • Optional: Stir in cream cheese or sour cream until smooth.

    Mix the batter

    • Add the remaining ingredients (except chocolate chips and nuts) to the pan with the melted chocolate.
    • Beat with a fork or whisk about 2 minutes until smooth and creamy.
    • Scrape the sides of the pan with a spatula.

    Prepare and top

    • Spread the batter evenly in the pan.
    • Sprinkle chocolate chips and chopped nuts evenly over the batter.
    • Optionally press chips and nuts lightly into the batter.

    Bake and cool

    • Bake 30–40 minutes at 180 °C until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
    • Cool in the pan. Serve warm or cooled.
