- 720 gChicken breast
- 30 mlOlive oil
- 12 gSalt
- 2 gPepper
- 6 gLemon zest

Prepare
- Preheat the oven to 200 °C.
- Prepare a baking pan (approx. 33 x 23 cm) or line with parchment paper.

Season
- Brush both sides of the chicken breasts with olive oil.
- Sprinkle both sides liberally with kosher salt, freshly ground black pepper, and finely grated lemon zest.

Bake
- Place the breasts on the prepared baking pan.
- Optionally insert a probe thermometer into one breast. Bake in the center of the oven at 200 °C until internal temperature reaches 75 °C (about 15–25 minutes depending on thickness).

Rest and serve
- Remove to a plate and let rest for 5 minutes so juices redistribute.
- Serve warm (e.g. with salad, roasted vegetables or rice).
