Brown the meat
- Heat a large pan or saucepan over medium-high heat.
- Add ground meat (about 680 g) and diced onion (about 150 g) and brown until the meat is cooked through and the onion is soft. Drain excess fat if desired.

Combine ingredients and simmer
- Stir in black beans, corn, diced tomatoes, salsa, instant rice, water and taco seasoning into the pan with the meat.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover and simmer 10–15 minutes until the rice is cooked and flavors meld. Stir occasionally.

- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Use as a filling for tortillas, burritos or serve as a side.
