Ingredients

  • 1 sprühdoseOil
  • 10 gCornmeal
  • 300 gPizza dough
  • 7 pcsMozzarella
  • 120 mlPizza sauce
  • 24 slicePepperoni
  • 150 gSausage
  • 200 gCheese

Instructions

    Prepare

    • Preheat the oven to 220 °C (425 °F).
    • Lightly spray a 30 cm (12 in) pizza pan with cooking spray and optionally dust with cornmeal.

    Shape and fill the crust

    • Press the refrigerated pizza dough into the pan from the center so it hangs about 1 cm over the edge.
    • Fold the overhanging edge back toward the center to form a pouch around the rim.
    • Place the mozzarella sticks into the pouch all the way around and pinch the dough to seal the cheese inside.

    Par-bake the crust

    • Bake the filled crust 8–10 minutes until the edges are light golden and the dough has started to set.
    • Remove the pan from the oven.

    Top and finish baking

    • Spread the pizza sauce over the pre-baked crust.
    • Scatter the pepperoni, cooked Italian sausage and shredded cheese over the sauce.
    • Return to the oven and bake until the crust is deeply golden and the topping cheese is melted, about 10–15 minutes.

    Serve

    • Remove pizza from oven and let rest briefly.
    • Cut into 6–8 slices and serve hot so the stuffed crust pulls cheesy.
