Cook the pasta
- Fill a large pot with cold water, generously salt it (about 2.4 g of salt remains in the finished dish) and bring to a boil.
- Add the angel hair pasta and cook, stirring occasionally, 4–5 minutes until al dente.
- Drain the pasta, reserving about 240 ml of cooking water. Set the pasta aside briefly.

Prepare the shrimp
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Sauté the minced garlic briefly (30–60 seconds), then add the shrimp.
- Cook shrimp 2–4 minutes per side (or follow package directions) until pink and opaque.
- Stir in lemon zest and juice, season with freshly ground black pepper.

Toss and serve
- Add the pasta, about 120–240 ml reserved pasta water, chopped parsley and toasted pine nuts to the skillet with the shrimp.
- Toss gently until the pasta is evenly coated; add more pasta water if needed.
- Divide among warm bowls and serve immediately.
