- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Cook the gnocchi according to package instructions until they float, then drain.

- Dice the sun-dried tomatoes if they are in large pieces.
- Pick the basil leaves and roughly tear them.
- Mince the garlic.

- Pour the oil from the sun-dried tomatoes into a large pan and heat.
- Sauté the minced garlic in the oil for 1–2 minutes over medium heat until fragrant (do not brown).

- Add the diced sun-dried tomatoes and fry briefly.
- Add the drained gnocchi and toss gently until heated through.
- Stir in the basil until slightly wilted.
