  • 170 gTomato paste
  • 300 gOnion
  • 6 gGarlic
  • 15 mlVinegar
  • 5 mlWorcestershire sauce
  • 21 gChili powder
  • 18 gSalt
  • 2.3 gCumin
  • 0.5 gOregano
  • 1.15 gCayenne pepper
  • 1.15 gPepper
  • 1.3 gCinnamon
  • 1.2 gAllspice
  • 0.25 gMarjoram
  • 0.3 gClove
  • 2 pcsBay leaf

    Prepare

    • Crumble the ground beef into cold water.
    • Chop onions finely and mince garlic. Measure tomato paste and have spices ready.

    Cook

    • Add remaining ingredients and spices to the meat and water. Stir well, breaking up the meat before heating.
    • Cover and simmer on low heat for about 2 hours, stirring occasionally.

    • Cool and refrigerate until fat solidifies, skim off the fat, then reheat and serve.
