- 550 gSausage
- 250 gBacon
- 600 mlChicken broth
- 900 gPotato

Prepare and brief boil
- Place bacon (cut into ~3 cm pieces), onions (halved or thickly sliced) and sausages into a sufficiently large pot.
- Add 300 ml chicken stock to cover the meat and onions. Bring to a boil, then simmer gently for about 5 minutes.

Add potatoes and remaining stock
- Peel (optional) and cut potatoes into bite-sized pieces.
- Add the potatoes to the pot and pour in the remaining 300 ml of chicken stock.

Simmer
- Bring back to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer covered for about 1 hour until potatoes begin to disintegrate and thicken the broth.
- Check occasionally and add a little water or stock if necessary to prevent sticking.

Season and serve
- Season with salt and freshly ground pepper to taste.
- Serve hot. Optionally garnish with chopped parsley.
