    Preparation

    • Preheat the oven to 200°C (390–400°F).
    • Put the fried onions in a bowl and crush them lightly (by hand or with a spoon).
    • Beat the egg in a medium bowl.
    • Cut each chicken breast in half lengthwise to make 8 thinner pieces (about 600 g total).

    • Dip each chicken piece into the beaten egg, then roll in the crushed fried onions until evenly coated.
    • Place the coated pieces on a lightly greased or lined baking tray.

    Baking

    • Bake in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes until golden and the internal temperature reaches 75°C or juices run clear.
    • Let rest 2–3 minutes before serving.
