    • Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).
    • Stir together the green beans, milk, half of the fried onions, pepper, cream of mushroom soup and soy sauce in a 3-quart (≈3 L) casserole dish.
    • Bake until hot, about 25 minutes.
    • Sprinkle the remaining fried onions over the top.
    • Bake another 5 minutes until the onions are golden. Serve warm.
