- 8 pcsBread

- Clean mushrooms with a damp cloth or brush, trim tough stem ends and halve or quarter to get even pieces.
- Butter 8 slices of bread lightly (2 slices per person).
- Finely chop the parsley.

Grill and serve
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add mushrooms, season with salt and freshly ground pepper, and sauté for 6–8 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and tender.
- Meanwhile toast the buttered bread until golden.
- Drizzle a little extra olive oil over the hot mushrooms, adjust seasoning and toss briefly.
- Place toast on plates, top with mushrooms and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve immediately.
