- Stir broth, drained canned diced tomatoes, grated Parmesan, Italian seasoning and garlic powder in a shallow non-metallic dish.
- Reserve half of this mixture for basting.

Marinate the chicken
- Add the chicken to the remaining half of the marinade and turn to coat.
- Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Grill or broil
- Remove chicken from the marinade and discard that used marinade.
- Grill or broil chicken about 15 minutes until done, turning and brushing often with the reserved half of the marinade.
