  • 450 gSpaghetti
  • 150 gCarrot
  • 225 gBean
  • 60 gTomato sauce
  • 0.3 gSalt

    Bring water to a boil

    • Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil.

    Cook spaghetti and carrots

    • Add the whole-wheat spaghetti and thinly sliced carrots to the boiling water.
    • Cook for 4 minutes.

    Add green beans

    • Add the green beans to the pot.
    • Cook for another 4 minutes until tender-crisp.

    Heat the tomato sauce

    • Warm the tomato pasta sauce in a small saucepan or in the microwave.

    Drain and combine

    • Drain the spaghetti and vegetables and return them to the pot.
    • Mix with the warmed tomato sauce.

    • Add a pinch of salt if needed and stir.
    • Serve immediately.
