    Prepare

    • Slice the cooked beef tenderloin thinly if not already sliced.
    • Slice the long loaf (French or Italian) lengthwise.

    Assemble and toast

    • Arrange the sliced beef evenly on one half of the loaf.
    • Top with the cooked crispy bacon and pepper jack cheese slices.
    • Close the sandwich or place the top half back on.
    • Toast in a preheated oven at about 95 °C (200 °F) until the cheese melts and the bread is lightly toasted (about 8–15 minutes).
    • Cut into portions and serve immediately.
