Ingredients

  • 200 gMozzarella
  • 250 gTomato
  • 20 gBasil
  • 350 gPasta
  • 3 tbspOlive oil
  • 40 gOlive
  • 200 gTuna
  • 6 gSalt
  • 1 gPepper

    Preparation

    • Wash and quarter the tomatoes.
    • Drain the mozzarella and halve or tear into pieces if needed.
    • Slice the olives.
    • Wash and tear the basil leaves.

    Cook pasta

    • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
    • Add farfalle, stir once and cook for about 10 minutes (or follow package instructions).
    • Drain the pasta and rinse with cold water to cool quickly.

    Assemble salad

    • Place tomatoes in a large bowl, tear basil over them and add 1 tbsp olive oil. Mix.
    • Add cooled pasta and toss gently.
    • Add sliced olives, drained mozzarella and chunks of tuna; mix carefully.
    • Let the salad rest for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to mingle.
    • Just before serving, grind black pepper over the salad and drizzle with the remaining olive oil.
