Preparation
- Wash and quarter the tomatoes.
- Drain the mozzarella and halve or tear into pieces if needed.
- Slice the olives.
- Wash and tear the basil leaves.

Cook pasta
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add farfalle, stir once and cook for about 10 minutes (or follow package instructions).
- Drain the pasta and rinse with cold water to cool quickly.

Assemble salad
- Place tomatoes in a large bowl, tear basil over them and add 1 tbsp olive oil. Mix.
- Add cooled pasta and toss gently.
- Add sliced olives, drained mozzarella and chunks of tuna; mix carefully.
- Let the salad rest for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to mingle.
- Just before serving, grind black pepper over the salad and drizzle with the remaining olive oil.
