Preparation
- Remove casings from the sausages and break the meat up with a fork.
- Cook the sausage in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbly; drain excess fat.
- Stir the spaghetti sauce, tomato paste and hot water into the cooked sausage.
- Add the cooked penne and stir until the pasta is well coated with sauce.
- Bring the mixture to a boil briefly.
- Reduce heat and simmer on low for 10 minutes until heated through.
- Sprinkle with shredded Parmesan and serve.
