- 50 mlMilk

Preparation
- Wash and (optionally) peel the apple, then grate it.
- Peel and finely chop the onion.
- Wash and slice the tomatoes.
- Cook the rice according to package instructions.

Fry apple and onion
- Heat the butter in a pan.
- Add the grated apple and chopped onion and fry over medium heat until soft and well combined (about 5–7 minutes).

Make the curry sauce
- Mix the curry powder into a little warm milk to form a smooth paste.
- Stir the curry-milk mixture into the apple-onion mix and simmer briefly until the sauce thickens slightly.

Fry tomatoes
- Heat a little butter or oil in a separate pan.
- Quickly fry the tomato slices on both sides until slightly browned (2–3 minutes).

Season and serve
- Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
- Pour the curry mixture over the fried tomatoes.
- Serve inside a 'wall' of boiled rice and serve immediately.
