  • 720 gPotato
  • 425 gTuna
  • 180 gCorn
  • 180 gPea
  • 120 gCarrot
  • 16 gHerbs
  • 15 gChili sauce
  • 50 gEgg
  • 5 gSalt
  • 0.5 gPepper
  • 120 gBreadcrumbs

    Prepare and Mix

    • Coarsely mash the cooked, still-warm potatoes.
    • Drain the tuna and flake with a fork.
    • Add corn, thawed peas, chopped cooked carrots, chopped herbs, chili sauce, beaten egg, salt and pepper to the potato and tuna mixture.
    • Mix well until you have a uniform, shapeable mixture. Taste and adjust seasoning.

    Shape and Coat

    • Shape the mixture into patties (about 8–12 depending on size).
    • Gently roll each patty in breadcrumbs until evenly coated.

    Cook (Oven / Grill / Pan)

    • Oven: Place patties on a baking tray and bake at 200 °C for 30–35 minutes, turning once, until golden and crisp.
    • Grill: Place under a hot grill and cook 8–10 minutes per side until golden and crisp.
    • Pan: Heat a small amount of oil in a large frying pan and fry patties ~5 minutes per side until golden; drain on paper towel and keep warm.
