- 15 mlLemon juice
- 80 gRaisin
- 80 gWalnut
- 80 gCelery
- 30 mlMayonnaise
- 15 gSugar
- 60 gLettuce leaf

Preparation
- Wash apples, core and cut into wedges. Place in a large bowl.
- Pour lemon juice over the apple wedges and toss gently to prevent browning.
- Plump the raisins by soaking them in warm water for 5 minutes, then drain well.

Mixing
- Add chopped celery, drained raisins and chopped walnuts to the apple wedges and toss gently.
- Stir mayonnaise and sugar together until smooth. Pour over the apple mixture and toss lightly to coat.

Chill and Serve
- Chill at least 30 minutes to let flavors meld.
- Place 3 lettuce leaves on each plate, divide the salad between them and top each with 5 halved maraschino cherries.
