  • 120 gQuinoa
  • 280 mlMilk
  • 200 mlWater
  • 1 pcsApple
  • 2.5 tspCinnamon
  • 2 tbspMaple syrup
  • 10 gButter
  • 2 pcsEgg
  • 30 gWalnut
  • 1 tspSalt

Instructions

    Rinse quinoa

    • Place quinoa in a fine sieve
    • Rinse thoroughly under cold water
    • Drain well

    Cook quinoa

    • Add quinoa with milk and water to a pot
    • Bring to a boil
    • Simmer gently over low heat
    • Stir occasionally until tender and creamy
    • Let it rest briefly to thicken

    Sauté apple

    • Wash and core the apple
    • Dice into small cubes
    • Melt butter in a pan
    • Sauté the apple briefly until slightly softened
    • Flavor with cinnamon and maple syrup

    Scramble cinnamon egg

    • Whisk the egg with milk and cinnamon
    • Heat a pan over medium heat
    • Pour in the egg mixture
    • Stir gently until just set
    • Remove from heat and let it finish briefly

    Assemble bowl

    • Divide quinoa between bowls
    • Spoon the apple on top
    • Add the cinnamon egg on the side
    • Top with walnuts
