- 6 gGarlic
- 2 gLemon zest
- 40 mlLemon juice
- 2 gCumin
- 30 mlOlive oil
- 21 gHoney
- 6 gSalt

Prepare & Marinate
- Using sharp kitchen scissors, cut each wing at the joint into two pieces (drumette and flat).
- Mix garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, cumin seeds, olive oil, salt and pepper in a bowl.
- Pour the marinade over the wings, toss to coat, cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.

Bake or Grill & Finish
- Preheat oven to 200°C (180°C fan) or prepare the barbecue.
- Bake the wings on a tray for 45–50 minutes until crisp, or grill for about 20 minutes until cooked and browned.
- Brush the wings with honey during the last 10 minutes to glaze.
- Serve immediately with lemon wedges and optional sides like olives or flatbreads.
