- 45 mlOlive oil
- 3 pcsGarlic
- 10.7 gBell pepper

Marinate
- Mix olive oil, minced garlic, paprika powder, chopped red chilli, rosemary leaves, salt and pepper in a bowl.
- Place the sardines in a shallow dish, pour over the marinade and toss to coat evenly. Cover and chill for at least 1–2 hours, preferably 2–4 hours.

Grill and serve
- Preheat a barbecue or grill pan until very hot.
- Grill the sardines 4–5 minutes per side until nicely caramelised and charred.
- Transfer to a serving plate, drizzle with remaining olive oil, sprinkle a little more paprika and squeeze lemon wedges over before serving.
