  • 450 mlWater
  • 80 gOnion
  • 120 gCarrot
  • 100 gBean
  • 150 gTomato
  • 10 gGinger
  • 2 cloveGarlic
  • 1 pcsChili
  • 12 gRapeseed oil
  • 1 tspMustard seed
  • 1 tspCumin
  • 1 tspTurmeric
  • 2 tspGaram masala
  • 1 tspPaprika powder
  • 0.5 tspSalt
  • 1 tbspLemon
  • 10 gCoriander

Instructions

    Prepare vegetables

    • Peel and finely dice the onion
    • Peel and dice the carrot
    • Cut the beans into small pieces
    • Dice the tomato
    • Grate the ginger
    • Finely chop the garlic
    • Chop the chili to taste

    Toast spices

    • Heat oil in a pot
    • Add mustard seeds and let them pop
    • Briefly toast cumin
    • Sauté onion until translucent
    • Briefly sauté ginger and garlic

    • Add carrot and beans
    • Sauté briefly
    • Stir in tomato and chili
    • Add spices and toast briefly

    Cook the oats

    • Stir in the oats
    • Pour in water
    • Bring to a boil
    • Simmer on low heat
    • Stir occasionally until creamy
    • Season with salt and lemon juice

    Serve and top

    • Sprinkle with cilantro
    • Serve hot
