- 3 gSalt
- 10 mlSesame oil
- 30 mlRice vinegar
- 6 pcsBasil

- Peel the cucumbers and cut them into quarters lengthwise. If the seeds taste bitter, scrape them out and discard.
- Cut the cucumbers crosswise into about 1/2-inch (1.25 cm) pieces and place in a bowl.

Toss the salad
- Sprinkle the cucumbers with salt and toss, let sit 5 minutes.
- Add sesame oil, rice vinegar, chopped basil leaves and chili flakes and mix well.
- Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and serve immediately.
