  • 85 gCream cheese
  • 1.25 gWorcestershire sauce
  • 1.25 gSalt
  • 1.25 gPepper
  • 25 gGreen onion
  • 30 gBell pepper
  • 360 gMushroom
  • 20 gBacon
  • 40 gBreadcrumbs
  • 15 gButter

Instructions

    Prepare

    • Preheat oven to 160–165 °C (325 °F).
    • Clean mushrooms, remove stems carefully and chop stems finely for the filling.

    Make the filling

    • Soften the cream cheese and place in a bowl or food processor.
    • Add Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper and mix briefly until combined.
    • Fold in chopped bacon, chopped mushroom stems, diced green onions and diced green pepper.

    Breadcrumb topping

    • Mix the breadcrumbs with just enough butter to hold them together.
  4. 4

    Stuff and bake

    • Stuff the mushroom caps with the prepared filling and top with the breadcrumb mixture.
    • Bake 5 minutes until breadcrumbs are lightly browned and filling is hot. Serve warm.
