  • 188 gPecan
  • 15 mlPeanut oil
  • 2 gSalt
  • 140 gCream cheese
  • 180 gApple
  • 280 gBrie

    Toast the baguette

    • Preheat the oven.
    • Brush the baguette slices with melted butter and arrange on a baking sheet.
    • Bake at 200 °C for about 8 minutes until golden and crisp. Remove and cool.

    Make pecan butter

    • Combine chopped pecans and peanut oil in a blender or food processor.
    • Process until a smooth, spreadable paste forms. Season with salt.

    Assemble

    • Spread cream cheese on the cooled toasts.
    • Top each with an apple slice and a brie slice.
    • Add a dollop of pecan butter and garnish with a pecan half.

    Finish and serve

    • Return the assembled toasts to the baking sheet and warm in the oven until the brie softens (about 30–60 seconds).
    • Serve immediately while warm or lukewarm.
